Watson on his appointment as goalkeeper coach

9 July 2021

Dan Watson says the vision of Michael Duff's aims for Cheltenham Town proved to be a "big magnet" for his decision to join the club as the new goalkeeper coach.

He started work at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium with the first team squad this week ahead of the team's first pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Watson, who has previously worked at Kidderminster Harriers, Port Vale and Carlisle United moves to Gloucestershire having been goalkeeper coach at Northampton Town.

Watch his first interview upon joining the club where he discusses what he's looking forward to working on with the club's goalkeepers, the challenge of working with both young and experienced shot-stoppers, goalkeeping across the club and much more.
