Yesterday marked the end of the EFL’s Youth Development Week, designed to showcase the superb EFL Academy-developed players and their impact throughout the leagues.
In our opening game of the 2023/24 season, young striker Tom King made Cheltenham Town history, becoming our youngest ever EFL player aged just 16 years and 319 days.
He has since gone on to become the first ever Robins player to be called up to an England squad at any age group and was rewarded with his first professional contract back in January.
To look back at his incredible achievements so far this term, King sat down with the Robins defender and EFL veteran Curtis Davies last week at Seasons.
