Junior Robins Hit 800

4 March 2014

Cheltenham Town's Junior Robins scheme now had 800 members in it following the new launch in the summer.

800 young Robins are now part of the club's successful junior membership scheme which re-launched back in the summer.

The Junior Robins membership was revamped and re-launched last year enabling children to watch Cheltenham Town in the league for absolutely FREE as long as they were signed up and at Junior School age. That launch also saw special fixed rates for fans aged between 12 and 18, as well as students, which would reduce the cost of ticket prices.

The Junior Robins membership has proven to be hugely popular with new young fans watching their team for the very first time this season, enjoying a Halloween party at Leisure@ Cheltenham and a Family Fun Day at Christmas.

"The Junior Robins membership is designed to give young football fans a passion for their local club," said commercial assistant Meg Lancaster.

"We have seen lots of new faces and our hope is that, like most of us, they will fall in love with life at Cheltenham Town and become supporters for life in the years that follow. 800 is a fantastic achievement and something that our junior schemes have never reached before but there is still plenty of work to do.

"Free football for children at junior school age is a great opportunity for any mums or dads who want to spend time with kids at the weekend in a safe family environment and at an affordable price."
