Check out the pictures from Cheltenham Town's 2-1 County Cup win over Forest Green.

A young Cheltenham Town side booked a spot in the County Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 win away at Forest Green Rovers.

The Robins XI, managed by Russell Milton, included first teamers Connor Roberts, Craig Braham-Barrett, Jason Taylor and Zack Kotwica but the rest of the team was made up with Milton's youth team and there were a number of promising performances.

The first half was a decent showing of football but the goal remained level going in at the break despite several close moments for both sets of strikers. It was to be Forest Green that scored the opener however with Jonnie Brodie's close range finish.

The young Robins reacted well however and both Bobbie Dale and Zack Kotwica came close to equalising. That equaliser did come eventually from a Jason Taylor cross and James Bowen was on hand to finish well at the far post. It was only a matter of minutes later before Milton watched his side turn the game on it's head when Bowen, who had come close to scoring again seconds earlier, crossed the ball across the face of goal and Bobbie Dale was on hand to finish well to win the game.

Cheltenham Town will now face Bristol City at Ashton Gate in the semi-final of this competition.
