Aaron Downes has been named the club’s PFA Community Champion for the 2016/17 season.

It was with great honour to announce the clubs PFA community champion award for 2016/2017 is Aaron Downes. 

Olly Roberts, CTFC Trust manager, presented Aaron with his award. 
“We were delighted to present Aaron with his award for PFA Community Player of the Year for 2016/17. Aaron received this award as he has repeatedly shown how he is happy to go above and beyond in terms of  community and supporter engagement. Aaron is always happy to attend any club or community events and is great role model to all the children he meets”

“The PFA believes that players who make that extra effort and contribution during the season should be recognised for their support and involvement in the local community. This Award will hopefully raise awareness of the great contribution and importance many of our members attach to their roles off the pitch.
