Steve Book returned to Cheltenham Town to be appointed as goalkeeper coach in 2010.
Between 1997 and 2004 he played over 300 times for the club, playing his part in earning promotions from the Southern League all the way up into the third tier of English football.
Starting his career in non-league football around the south west with the likes of Welton Rovers, Paulton Rovers and Weston-super-Mare, it was at Forest Green Rovers in the Southern League where he really made his mark, achieving a century of appearances until Cheltenham paid a fee to take him to Whaddon Road.
When his time at Cheltenham eventually came to an end in 2004 he went onto have brief spells at Swindon Town, Cirencester Town, Bristol Rovers and Tiverton Town until he returned to Cheltenham as first team goalkeeper coach in June 2010.
