Bury born Will Ferry joined the Robins from Southampton in August 2022, following a loan with Crawley Town last campaign.
Ferry started his career in the academy at Bury before joining the youth ranks at Southampton in 2017.
The midfielder was named Academy Player Of The Year for Southampton in 2018/19 and made the bench for their FA Cup semi-final against Leicester in 2021.
Despite being born in England, Ferry has represented the Republic of Ireland at both U19 and U21 level in his career.
