Cheltenham Town bolstered the club's defensive ranks with the signing of full back Sean Long from Lincoln City in June 2018.
Injury frustrated the Dublin-born defender in his first campaign at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium, however he became a key member of the squad for the 2019/20 season.
He would make 22 league appearances, scoring twice during the clubs 2020/21 League Two title winning campaign.
Long started his career in England at Reading, after joining from Irish club side Cherry Orchard, and made his professional debut in August 2014.
He enjoyed loan spells at Luton Town, Cambridge United and Braintree Town before making a permanent move to Lincoln in 2017.
At the start of the 2022/23 season, he was named our captain by Robins head coach, Wade Elliott. Long has the most appearances for the club of any player in the current Town squad.
