CNM Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers have been established in Cheltenham since 1946 and have an associated office in Hammersmith.
CNM Cheltenham has been associated with many significant buildings and developments in and around Gloucestershire, the firm acts for The Jockey Club, The Borough Council and many commercial and private clients both locally and further afield.
Close association with Cheltenham Town Football Club began in 1997 when CNM acted as lead consultant on development works to bring the Whaddon Road Stadium up to Football League standards.
The work included the Covered Standing Terrace, The two new all-seater grandstands and included new toilet blocks, turnstiles and catering facilities.
Other works designed by CNM as lead consultant to the club have been the Hospitality Boxes attached to the rear of the original grandstand, the elevated Match Control Room and the supports for the Big Screen.
CNM continue to provide crowd safety advice to the club and to carry out the Annual Inspections of the spectator facilities as required by the licensing authority.
The association between Cheltenham Town FC and CNM is further strengthened by the latter’s move to offices at Seasons Business Complex alongside the Club’s Training Ground and Academy.
