Cheltenham Town can confirm that striker Will Goodwin has today joined fellow League One outfit Oxford United for an undiclosed fee.
The 21-year-old leaves the club having scored seven times in 32 appearances since joining the Robins from Championship side Stoke City just over a year ago.
He most memorably scored on his debut in a 3-1 Bristol Street Motors Trophy win over Salford City, securing our place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Upon Will's departure, manager Darrell Clarke said:
"Will leaves the club with our best wishes and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
"He has progressed well during my time here but the offer we received from Oxford was one we felt was a great deal for the club.
"We continue our focus on improving performances with our squad on the pitch and improving it with a positive transfer window."
We'd like to thank Will for his service during his time at the club and we wish him all the best in the future.
