Robins manager Darrell Clarke sat down with the local press ahead of this weekend's League One clash with Portsmouth.
The gaffer touched on the tough test of facing the league leaders as well as the recent departure of assistant manager Adam Murray.
Town will be looking for their first win of 2024, trying to bounce back from the narrow New Year's Day defeat to Northampton Town on Monday.
Ahead of the clash, Clarke said:
"I watched the game back from earlier in the season, but a lot has changed since then, we are a different animal.
"We know we are giving our oppositions games and that's what we have to keep doing. Portsmouth are flying at the top of the division but they have their own pressures.
"We're comfortable we can give everybody a game and we believe we can get after them."
