The club are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Greg Sloggett on a short-term deal following his recent trial period.
The 27-year-old joins the Robins until the end of the season following his departure from Dundalk, becoming our eighth new signing of the January window.
Sloggett began his career in his native country of Ireland, where he played for UCD, spending five years at the club.
He would go on to be an integral player for Derry City during his one-year spell there before joinig Dundalk back in 2019.
The midfielder enjoyed a succesful three years with the club where he played in the Europa League Group Stages and also won silverware, helping the side win the FAI Cup.
After signing for the club, Greg said:
"It's been a funny old month trying to find the right club over here but I'm delighted to here at Cheltenham Town.
"As a midfielder I'll bring a bit of everything. I'm a box-to-box and I'll be a hard worker at the very minimum."
