We are delighted to have bolstered our attacking ranks by confirming the signing of forward Joe Nuttall on loan from Oldham Athletic.
In partnership with club sponsors Little Jet Company, Nuttall joins Town from the National League promotion chasers on a deal until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has made 11 league appearances for the Latics so far this season and arrives in Gloucestershire to make a return to the EFL.
The forward came through the academy at Manchester City before gaining his first taste of senior football in Scotland with Aberdeen as an 18-year-old.
Loan spells lower down the Scottish pyramid followed before he signed for Blackburn Rovers ahead of the 2017/18 season.
He spent two years at Ewood Park before moving to Blackpool, where he saw a similar return in both appearances and goals.
Nuttall moved onto Scunthorpe United in January 2022, where he enjoyed a prolific year personally, scoring 11 league goals across both League Two and the National League.
His most recent stint at Boundary Park has seen him score eight times since his arrival last January ahead of his move to the Cheltenham.
