Robins interim manager Kevin Russell spoke to the CTFC media team for the first time, ahead of our Sky Bet League One clash with Stevenage.
Town take on Steve Evans' side on Saturday afternoon as we continue our search for a much needed first three points of the campaign.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's return to the Completely-Suzuki Stadium, Russell said:
"It was a difficult one on Tuesday because you could arguably say we went toe to toe with them. The scoreline makes that look different but it was far from it.
"Looking ahead and Stevenage are a really tough team to play against. Whenever you play against Steve's (Evans) team it's tough. We know it'll be a tough game but we need to be up to the challenge.
"We need the fans to back the lads. We're in a tricky situation at the moment and we need them to be the 12th man. The lads will give everything they've got and we need to turn up and give our A game."
