Together Against Racism - A message to supporters

21 October 2023

This is a message from Cheltenham Town about racism and discrimination ahead of today’s fixture against Cambridge United.

At Cheltenham Town we believe that Football is a game for everyone and we are proud of the welcoming atmosphere that you create at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium every matchday.

However, every season, there are hundreds of reports of discrimination across the game, and likely more that go unrecorded.

As part of the EFL’s Together Against Racism campaign we are calling on you, our supporters, to make a difference and report any incidents of racism or discrimination you see or hear in the ground today and at all matches in the future.

Reporting discrimination helps remove unwanted behaviour from football stadiums, allows us to identify abusers and ensure victims get the support they need, creating a safer environment for everyone to attend football matches.

Cheltenham Town and all of football stands Together against Racism and all forms of discrimination.

Enjoy the game.

If you experience any discrimination or anti-social beaviour close to you on a matchday, you can confidentially report it to the club’s control room by texting us on 07856 869985.
