We are looking forward to celebrating and promoting Child Poverty Action Group for this Saturday's match with Cambridge United.
The organisation is the charity of the year of our principal partners and front of shirt sponsors, Mira Showers.
The club, Mira and CPAG have worked closely together in the past few months to run our recent third kit competition, with the winner announced earlier this week.
Kerry Hale, Associate Market Analyst - Social Media, PR & Sponsorships at Mira said:
"At Mira we passionately believe in the power of community and the ability that we all have to create a positive impact on our planet, communities and people.
"As part of our commitment to helping local communities, each year we actively encourage our associates to take part in charitable work supporting our nominated charity. This year we were delighted to use our position as front of shirt sponsor to put the spotlight on our charity partner, Child Poverty Action Group, raising awareness of the charity and raising money for them so that they can continue the incredible work that they do.
"The Third Kit competition has been a great opportunity to take both our football and charity partnerships, and come together in the hope of creating a meaningful difference to those less fortunate. With pupils from a total of 60 schools entering the competition, we have been blown away by the number of entries and the creativity of every child’s design. We’re looking forward to the club's Boxing Day game, when we will see Ruby’s winning design being brought to life! A huge thank you also goes to each child who shared an entry into the competition."
