Community Trust ambassadors for the 2023/24 season

11 October 2023

The club can now confirm the first team players who will be the Cheltenham Town Community Trust ambassadors for the new season.

Robins captain and last season's PFA Community Champion Sean Long will once again be the trust's participation and engagement ambassador.

Longy's role revolves around helping and encouraging young people to get involved in sport and activity in the local community.

Meanwhile our current longest serving first team player and local lad George Lloyd will be our new education and employability ambassador.

His role as education ambassador involves highlighting the importance of education for young people as well as enjoying their youth.

Our final ambassador this season is Robins striker Will Goodwin, who will take on the health and wellbeing ambassador role.

Adopting a healthy lifestyle is vital for a footballer and Will's role is in place to help promote healthy living in all aspects of life.

Both the club and the community trust would like to thank this season's ambassadors for their support for the upcoming campaign.
