Wade Elliott spoke to the press following Cheltenham Town's 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic to conclude his first full season as head coach.
A draw on the final day means that the Robins finish the season in 16th place in League One.
"The club has been going for 136 years. We had the FA Trophy team here and it's been a culmination of everyone's efforts over a long period of time to get here and I just hope we are enjoying it," said Elliott.
"It has been a big effort. Not just from me and my staff, but there has been years and years of work to get the club into this position."
Our 16th place in the table secures Town's second highest ever finish, a brilliant achievement for Elliott in his first season as the club's head coach.
