Cook wins CTFC Ladies 22/23 PFA Community Champion

19 May 2023

Izzy Cook has been awarded the 22/23 PFA Community Champion winner for the Cheltenham Town Ladies.

The forward has made a brilliant contribution to support the Cheltenham Town Community Trust’s work in the local community throughout last season and is awarded the prize in association with the Professional Footballers' Association.

Cheltenham Town Community Trust chief executive Simon Perruza presented Cook with the award at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium earlier in the week.

Maheta Molango, CEO of the Professional Footballs' Association, said: "The PFA has once again been immensely proud of the outstanding efforts of players this season and we feel they should be recognised for their support and involvement in the local community.

"The award will hopefully raise awareness of the importance many of our members attach to their roles off the pitch and highlight their continued commitment to support those most in need along with engaging in areas where they have a personal interest.

"We would like to offer our congratulations to this season’s recipient of the 2022/23 PFA Community Champion Award.”

Cheltenham Town captain Sean Long recieved the award for his side earlier in the month.

2023/24 season tickets are still available at early bird prices, and will be until Friday, 2nd  June. Join us at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium as we target an unprecedented fourth League One season in a row.

The Cheltenham Town Ladies enjoyed their inaugural campaign in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division, meaning another season at the third level of the WNL. As a season ticket holder you'll again be able to attend all of their league games at the Corinium Stadium. One club, one card.
