Elliot Bonds is up for the April Player of the Month award after another strong run of performances for Cheltenham in midfield. The Guyana international has built a reputation for scoring long-range strikes for the Robins, but his goal against MK Dons showed exactly what he is all about - aggressive pressing to steal the ball from the opposition, and a composed finish to round the goalkeeper.

After scoring five goals across April and totalling 19 for the Sky Bet League One season, Alfie May is once again in contention for the Player of the Month award. Cheltenham's number 10 is continuing his fine form in 2023, and his goal against Wycombe Wanderers last weekend means only Fulham's Aleksander Mitrovic (52) has scored more league goals in 'The 92' than May (42) over the past two seasons.

Striker Aidan Keena has also been amongst the goals, scoring three last month. The Irishman has formed a brilliant relationship with May, and the pair have blossomed in recent months.

Luke Southwood helped the Robins pick up their 16th League One clean sheet of the season - an impressive achievement which doubles last seasons tally (8). On-loan from Reading, the 25-year-old recorded two cleans sheets in April, and made a number of brilliant saves across the month to help Cheltenham pick valuable points in their fight to stay in the division.

The winner will be announced on Sunday for our final home game of the season against Charlton Athletic.
