A rejimented performance by Wade Elliott's side earned their 13th clean sheet of the season, but Cheltenham couldn't find that final moment to break the deadlock on the night.
Following the match, Ferry said: "It's one more point closer to where we want to be. Tonight showed how hard it is to get something from games in this league. We both had chances to nick a goal, but we showed how we've become more solid."
