Following Tom Bradbury's opener, Alfie May scored two fabulous goals to earn the Robins an important three points on the road.
After the victory, Cheltenham's head coach dedicated the performance to lifelong Robins fan Alby Coates who recently passed away.
"First and foremost, from the dressing room we would like to dedicate this result to Alby Coates who passed away yesterday."
"A lot of people know him from the football club and he's been a fan for probably longer than I've been alive, so hopefully he's watching on from somewhere and it's pleased him as much as it's pleased us."
