Curtis Davies signs for the Robins

27 June 2023

Cheltenham Town are delighted to announce the signing of veteran EFL defender Curtis Davies on a one-year-deal.

The 38-year-old arrives in GL52 having spent the last six years at Pride Park with fellow League One outfit Derby County.

Davies began his career in senior football with Luton Town before spells with West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Leicester City.

He then made the move to Birmingham City, where he spent two years, playing alongside current Robins manager Wade Elliott.

The former England youth international went on to play for Hull City, scoring in the 2014 FA Cup Final before moving to the Rams in 2017.

Upon signing for the Robins, Davies said:

"It feels good. It's an exciting time for me, I never though i'd be able to get a new challenge like this at my age.

"But I really want to achieve something this year and i'll be trying my very best to do that for Cheltenham Town."

Davies' home and away player sponsorship packages are now available. Email Luke.Saunders@ctfc.com for more details or to reserve.
