Match Preview: West Bromwich Albion (H)

17 July 2023

Cheltenham Town are back in pre-season action tomorrow night (Tuesday 17th July) as we host Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

The Robins will go head-to-head with the Baggies at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium with kick-off at 7:45pm.

Wade Elliot’s side come into the match off the back of three strong pre-season performances, most recently a 2-1 win over Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday.

As for the Baggies, they picked up their second successive pre-season win, against League One Shrewsbury Town winning 3-1 in a behind closed doors friendly.

Tuesday's match is the first of three friendlies at the Completely Suzuki Stadium in a week, with Birmingham City (Saturday 22nd July) and Bristol City (Tuesday 25th July) to come.

Matchday programmes will be sold at tomorrows game at the price of £2 and can be purchased in the club shop and around the ground.

Our pre-season addition will cover all three of our upcoming home friendlies, including our interview with new signing Curtis Davies and manager notes from the gaffer Wade Elliott.
