James Taylor has returned to Bristol City after joining Town in the summer on loan.
The right-back is a product of Bristol's academy, and was originally meant to be on loan with the Robins until the end of the season, however it has been cut short.
He made four appearances for Cheltenham across all competitions, including starts against Exeter City and Yate Town.
The 20-year-old was our eighth signing of the summer, and his departure now means Wade Elliott has a free loan space to use in January.
The Robins will travel up to Morecambe on Saturday to face the Shrimps in League One. Tickets and travel are still available for this weekend's game, as well as our home games next week against Salford and Derby County.
