Striker Will Goodwin joins Cheltenham Town after signing for an undisclosed fee on a two and a half year contract.
The 20-year-old leaves Championship side Stoke City, and is ready to kick on for the Robins. Our first signing of the January window is brought to you by our presenting partners, The Little Jet Company.
After sealing his future with Cheltenham, Goodwin said: “I’m really happy to be here. It’s a great club and hopefully I can make an impact and prove I am a good signing."
"I didn't even know I was going to get the number nine shirt, but it's a privelage to have."
The full interview with our newest arrival will be released tomorrow.
Goodwin was on loan at National League side Torquay United in the first half of the season, where he scored six goals in the league, as well as a 95th minute equaliser against Derby County in the FA Cup.
The young forward has also had a loan spell with Hartlepool United last season where he scored once and assisted twice in League Two across 10 appearances in the competition.
Goodwin's home and away player sponsorship packages are available - email Luke.Saunders@ctfc.com to reserve or for more details.
