This week marks the EFL's Week of Action for 2023. Every day this week we are going to be celebrating the different things we are doing here at Cheltenham Town, and with the Cheltenham Town Community Trust, to support our local community.
Cheltenham Town Community Trust are currently running a 'Talking Football Project' with people over the age of 65 who live within care homes and Cheltenham Borough Homes independent living schemes.
So far through the project, the Trust have worked with 175 individuals that live in 11 different venues. As part of the project, memory boxes are put together for each home visited, which can be used by residents and staff outside the acitivity sessions run by the Trust.
The impact of the project is shown in this testimonial received from one of the care homes.
