This week marks the EFL's Week of Action for 2023. Every day this week we are going to be celebrating the different things we are doing here at Cheltenham Town, and with the Cheltenham Town Community Trust, to support our local community.
An exciting new initiative was put in place at Cheltenham Town this season. One of our young fans is taking on the role of Ambassador to the club for this season.
Noah Millington, a season ticket holder, has been enjoying matches this season, as well as experiencing some opportunities at the club. The goal of implementing the Club Ambassador role here at Cheltenham Town has been to raise awareness of autism and further celebrate an inclusive atmosphere in our football community.
So far he has experienced being on the radio gantry alongside media professionals from the BBC, written match reports and experiences for the club programme and website.
Noah has used his experiences at the club to share with his fellow pupils and teachers at Alderman Knight School through assemblies and notice boards.
The Millington family and supporter liaison team have worked together alongside the football club and Cheltenham Town Community Trust to explore the matchday experience for children with special needs.
Follow Noah’s activities as the season progresses on the Club website and Twitter @CheltTownSLO.
