Rob Street has won the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award for November, for his thunderous opener in the 2-0 victory over Oxford United.
With the Robins welcoming the high-flying U's to Gloucestershire, Streety fired Town into the lead just after the half hour mark.
After a Liam Sercombe corner was cleared to the edge of the area, Street set himself before rifling the ball into the left bottom corner.
Reminiscing his award winning goal, Street said:
“It’s probably a bit of an unusual position for me naturally, being on the edge of the box. But it came to me, the touch set it up nicely and I just hit it and thankfully it went in.”
It was the pick of his three goals for the club so far as he beat Marc Leonard, Stephen Humphrys and Daniel Udoh to the award.
