Robins wing-back Will Ferry spoke ahead of this weekend's League One clash with Leyton Orient.
Richie Wellens and his O's arrive at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium winless in their last seven matches in all competitions.
Ferry and his Robins teammates meanwhile are looking to continue their strong recent home form to take forward into a busy festive period.
Speaking to the local press, Ferry said:
"As a kid I was always buzzing to watch football around Christmas time, so I'm really look forward to it. It's all part of the football and Christmas season.
"In Leyton Orient, we're expecting a team that are going to be up for it. We are high on confidence and if we do what we have been doing, we'll give ourselves a good chance."
