Wade Elliott spoke to the CTFC media team after his sides 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town on the opening day of the 2023/24 season.
After the defeat at the Croud Meadow Elliott said:
"I though in the first 60 minutes it wasn't a great game, it was really cagey and we for whatever reason looked a bit tentative.
"But in the last half hour the shackles came off and we gave a much better represenatation of what we are about.
"First game of the season players are always wondering where they are at, so they'll be pleased to get the first one out the way and now they come thick and fast."
