Alfie May has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for March
The forward has been on stunning form, hitting five goals in the month and helping Cheltenham remain unbeaten.
On picking up his second career League One player of the month award, May said: "It's always nice to win these little trophies, but the big thing for me is thanking my teammates. I wouldn't be in this position without them, and they've helped us get the club in a good position to stay in this league."
The Robins picked up big wins against Peterborough United, Exeter City and Fleetwood Town, whilst drawing to the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Lincoln City.
"We beat Peterborough and took points off Wednesday. When you take points off teams like that you're pinching yourself a bit, because you know how good they can be."
February last year saw May go on a similar run of form, and he collected his first League One player of the month trophy. It seems as though the forward can't stop scoring goals following the turn of the new year.
"I went on a really good run last year, and I want to keep chipping away to make sure we stay in this league. That's the main priority."
