March Player of the Month Shortlist

5 April 2023

You can now vote for your March Player of the Month, presented by HGV Drivers UK.

Vote here to have your say on who you think should win our award for last month.

After a run of matches in the side, Will Ferry has excelled for the Robins in March. The young defender picked up two assists from set-pieces, an element of Cheltenham's attack that now has become a big danger for sides. The Irishman has looked a real threat down the left-hand side, and has linked up well with defender Tom Bradbury to help the Robins pick up three clean sheets.

Alfie May has been on fire recently, scoring five in League One for March. Three exceptional strikes among the goals, with his viral effort from the half-way line against Peterborough United a stand out and a favourite for the Goal of the Season. May has been in exceptional form, and is also up for the Sky Bet League One player of the month award for March.

Irishman Aidan Keena is quickly becoming a fans favourite at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium, and it's clear to see why. His pressing from the front has helped Cheltenham over the month, not to mention the fact he scored his first Robins goal against Exeter City in our 3-1 win over the Grecians, and then followed it up with a strike against Sheffield Wednesday. The Robins faithful have taken to Keena, so much so the chanting of 'Aidan Keena's on fire' can now be heard across Whaddon on matchdays.

Caleb Taylor has continued his already very good season for Cheltenham. On-loan from West Bromwich Albion, the young centre-back doesn't look out of place whenever the Robins play. Several features in the EFL team of the week across March, as well as another goal to his name for his header against Exeter, has confirmed yet another solid month for Taylor.

Voting will close over the weekend for the HGV Drivers UK Player of the Month, and the winner will be announced on Monday, 10 April.
