Cheltenham Town captain Sean Long gave his thoughts ahead of his sides upcoming game against Oxford United tomorrow night.
Long is approaching 50 appearances in all competitions for the Robins this season, and helped the team to a 3-1 win last weekend against rivals Forest Green Rovers to confirm Cheltenham's safety in League One.
Ahead of the game, the 27-year-old reflected on his first full season as Robins captain saying: "When the season is over I will reflect on it, but I felt more ownership of the belief that we need to stay up because I lead the team for example.
"No one wants to be a part of a team that gets relegated, especially when you are the captain. So maybe when the season has finished I'll look back and be proud of our achievement."
