Ahead of the tournament, academy manager Tim Bell said: "We pride ourselves on innovation and forward thinking coaching here at Cheltenham Town and tournament football is a great experience for our young players and staff.
"It creates unique scenarios and events which we may not come across in our normal weekly games. Players and coaches will have to deal with a mix of emotions and challenges over the two days as well as playing under pressure while coming up against a variety of different styles we wouldn’t normally face."
The Robins U14 side are looking forward to the exciting weekend of football, and YDP lead coach James Bryden believes his side will benefit greatly from the compeition.
"To have all of these clubs coming to our training ground is a fantastic experience for the Academy. The pitches are being looked after brilliantly by all the groundsmen, and to see the Cheltenham badge everywhere is excellent exposure for the club.
"Last season’s event was fantastic and while I wasn’t yet at the club, I’m sure we can emulate it and put on another great tournament."
This year's Orange Veins Cheltenham Cup is proudly sponsored by club partners, HGV Drivers UK.
