Following his contract extension with the Robins, Lewis Freestone has caught the eyes of fans after a strong start to his 2022/23 season. The defender played a big role in our 1-0 victory over Exeter City, and has been consistently solid at the back for Cheltenham.

Caleb Taylor is playing his first season in League One, however you wouldn't know that from his early performances. Calm under pressure, and rarely loses an ariel duel, Taylor has made a terrific start to his professional career, and the West Bromwich Albion loanee look's as if he's only getting started.

The always reliable Liam Sercombe has carried over his good form from pre-season into the month of August, and has been a dependable character in the heart of the Robins' team. A skillful midfielder, who battles just as hard as anyone on the pitch, and has played a big part in the points Cheltenham have on the board so far.

Dan Nlundulu is back at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium following a short loan spell last season, and has returned to the club in impressive form. His winning goal against Exeter City secured the club's first three points of the season, and in every match he has worn his heart on his sleeve, and been a real menance for opposing players to deal with.

The Player of the Month will be announced next week.
