Robins head coach Wade Elliott gave his instant reaction to Cheltenham progressing to the next round of the Papa John's Trophy, despite losing 2-1 to West Ham United U-21.
Town took the lead through Charlie Brown who headered home his third of the season, and his second in the competition.
But, goals from Freddie Potts and Will Greenidge saw the visitors took the three points.
Despite the loss, the Robins go though Group C as runners-up, with MK Dons topping the group following their victory over Walsall.
