Robins choose MK Dons match to support Rainbow Laces

25 October 2022

Cheltenham Town's home game against MK Dons on Saturday, 29 October will be dedicated to Rainbow Laces, in support of their 2022 campaign: Inclusion Has No Off-Season.

The annual campaign, this year running between 19-31 October, creates an opportunity to raise awareness in supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion at a national level, with the Club this season taking additional important and significant steps to reaffirm the message that ‘football is for everybody’.

On Saturday, the players will wear Proud Robins branded t-shirts during the warm-up, have the option to further show their support by wearing rainbow laces in their boots and the matchday captain will proudly wear a bespoke rainbow coloured armband during the match to help raise awareness of the campaign.

Around the Completely-Suzuki Stadium we’ll be showing our support too, with the unveiling of a new equality, diversity and inclusion mural by the entrance to Gate 3. The artwork, designed and completed by Andy ‘Dice’ Davies articulates, clearly, that the Club and a number of our stakeholders groups with whom we collaborate and stand in solidarity, will not stand for discrimination in any form.
