An update from the Ticket Office

20 October 2022

We have had a number of positive comments from supporters regarding the implementation of our new ticketing system for this season, supplied by Kaizen Ticketing.

From a club perspective we are all very happy with the adoption of the new system, and the changes we’ve brought in over the past two seasons to move away from paying cash at the gate.

Since the start of the 2019/20 season, we have seen a 295% increase in the number of supporters purchasing their tickets online. This helps the club in a number of ways, and we’d encourage those who haven’t yet purchased online to consider purchasing your tickets in this way.

We do sometimes still have queues on a matchday, and so the one overriding message we want to get across to people is to 'buy tickets in advance'. This both saves you time queueing, and money by purchasing in advance of matchday.

We appreciate that not all supporters are able to purchase in advance for various reasons, and we simply ask that if you do need to buy tickets in person on the day, appreciate that there may well be a queue and arrive slightly earlier.

At the Bristol Rovers match there were no queues at any of our ticket sales points at 2:30pm, but at 2:50pm queues were 8 or 9 deep.

Our new ticket system allows for e-tickets to be purchased online right up until kick off from any device with internet access or 4G, so whether you’re on the bus to the stadium or sitting in a café on a Saturday morning, you can log into the ticketing website, purchase a ticket and download it straight to your phone, saving you time on arrival at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium.

Away Tickets / Travel

Cheltenham Town receive 5% of the income from away tickets sold in advance, whereas away tickets on the day all go to the club we are visiting. On average, 20% of supporters purchase on the day for our away matches and we’d again encourage those supporters to buy in advance.

Away tickets can be purchased via our website, and anything not collected from the ticket office will be taken to the away ground for collection on the day, so even if you’re not able to get to the Completely-Suzuki Stadium for collection you can collect on your arrival at the away club.

Travel Club

We anticipate the CTFC Travel Club selling out for a number of games this season, so we recommend buying early to avoid disappointment.  Where a coach does sell out, we will take names for a waiting list, and if another coach is financially viable it will be added.  The earlier a coach sells, the more chance there is for us to be able to sell another.

If anyone is interested in assisting the club as a steward on Travel Club coaches please get in touch via tickets@ctfc.com for information on what this entails.
