Alfie May ahead of Ipswich Town

10 November 2022

Alfie May gave an update on returning from injury and looked ahead to Saturday's opponents, Ipswich Town.

"When I scored against Shrewsbury, I was feeling back to my best," said May.

"The injury was fustrating, but I'm thankful to the staff for pushing me on, especially now I'm about four weeks ahead of schedule."

Cheltenham's number 10 featured in our FA Cup loss against Alvechurch, and also played the opening 45 minutes in the Gloucestershire County Cup against Yate Town.

"We know Saturday wasn't good enough, but it's important not to dwell on it. The main thing is to put it right this weekend. We all need to stick together as a club-we need the fans and our goal is to give them three points this Saturday."

Tickets for our clash against Ipswich are on sale until 10AM tomorrow, and travel club seats up until 3PM. Cheltenham fans will be unable to purchase tickets on the day.
