Liam Sercombe has signed a new one-year contract to remain at Cheltenham Town.

The midfielder has agreed to make it three campaigns as a Robins player and will add to the 88 appearances in all competitions he has made for the club.

Originally signed in the summer of 2020, the 32-year-old was a part of the team that earned automatic promotion during the 2020/21 campaign as League Two champions.

Last season he appeared 46 times across the season as he helped the team achieve a club record highest league finish in League One.

Having played in the third tier for all of his previous clubs at Exeter City, Oxford United and Bristol Rovers, he will continue to bring his knowledge and experience of the level to the Robins ranks for another campaign, while he's also fast approaching 600 career appearances.

Get behind Sercombe and his teammates for the 2022/23 season by purchasing a season ticket.

Early bird season tickets are available until the end of May and can be bought online, with details for the new Young Robins season ticket for under-14s recently launched.
