May nominated for PFA and Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Year

20 May 2022

Alfie May has been nominated for the League One PFA and Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Year award.

It was a stunning 2021/22 campaign for the striker who found the back of the net 26 times in all competitions.

His success in front of goal and overall contribution to a club record league finish has seen him nominated for the award alongside a number of other players from the third tier.

Ross Stewart (Sunderland), Will Keane (Wigan Athletic), Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday), Wes Burns (Ipswich Town) and Scott Twine (Milton Keynes Dons) are also in the running for the award.

The winner is chosen by the fans. So you can vote online to help May's chances of picking up the top prize.

Voting is now open and closes on Friday 27 May at midday.

To vote, head online to the 90min.com website and pick 'EFL L1' from the categories and then select May for your vote.

May will be hoping to repeat his success in the 2022/23 campaign with the Robins. Be a part of the new season by purchasing a season ticket which is available to buy online.

The early bird deadline is 11.59pm on 31 May so don't miss out on a 15% saving on season ticket prices.
