Preview: Raglan on MK Dons

8 March 2022

Charlie Raglan is keen to use the positive experience of the recent away visit to Ipswich Town when Cheltenham take on MK Dons this evening.

This evening's match at Stadium MK comes against a Milton Keynes outfit who are flying at the top end of the division.

They defeated table toppers Rotherham United at the weekend away from home and will be a tough challenge as one of a number of teams aiming for a place in the Championship next season.

Raglan though thinks some of the recent experiences of going away to leading sides in the division and producing performances that have led to points being gained will be crucial again this evening.

"It's a tough proposition in terms of their recent results - we're aware of that," he said.

"We know how they play. They've got a very distinct style.

"We only have to look at our last away game we went up against a similar team in terms of the system, the stadium, certain sort of calibre of player, so we've got nothing to fear in that way.

"You can't go there thinking these are very good and playing that narrative of where we are in the table and where they are in the table.

"We'll go there and have a game plan, we'll do what we're good at, and go there to take a result."
