Alfie May has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for February.
The 28-year-old striker has been recognised for a run that saw him score eight goals in six matches in the month.
Since signing a new contract at the club in January, the former Doncaster Rovers man has been in excellent form and recently reached the 20 goal milestone for the campaign in all competitions.
He began the month with a double at AFC Wimbledon, and then scored the winning goal in the memorable 2-1 midweek home victory over Sunderland.
He was on target again for the 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town, but it's the remarkable 5-5 draw at Wycombe Wanderers his performances will be remembered for as he scored four times at Adams Park, becoming the only Cheltenham player in the club's Football League history to achieve the feat.
Commenting on his award manager Michael Duff said: "He has had a fantastic month. Everything he hit went in. His all-round game, not just his goals, has been a big part in our success in the last few years and it is nice that one of our players gets a little bit of individual reconigtion for a rich vein of form.”
May will be a part of the Cheltenham side that lines up at Morecambe on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off at the Mazuma Stadium.
You can purchase tickets and away travel for the game up until 12pm on Friday.
