Community Trust achieve No Child Left Behind award

10 March 2022

The Cheltenham Town Community Trust picked up the #AchievingBoys award at the No Child Left Behind awards on Wednesday.

No Child Left Behind is a Cheltenham based project aimed at supporting young people in the town and local area.

With around 4,400 children and young people in Chelteham living in poverty, No Child Left Behind works to support those who need help and their annual awards celebrates the success of work done in the local community by organisations to help young people.

The Community Trust came out on top in the #AchievingBoys category at the awards held at Cheltenham Town Hall.

This category celebrates projects and organisations who are helping boys to overcome unique challenges such as education and criminal exploitation.

The Trust's Premier League Kicks initiative was recognised for the work undertaken with young males around Cheltenham to develop their confidence, ambition and social skills, giving them the tools to make positive choices in their life and steering them away from societal challenges such as violence and anti-social behaviour.
