Liam Sercombe scored the opening goal of the game shortly before the half-time whistle.
Cardiff scored two goals in the second half, however it was a strong performance by Wade Elliott's side. Alfie May, Grant Horton, Matty Blair and Taylor Perry all featured, for the first time in this pre-season campaign, on Saturday.
The players wore the new home shirt for the upcoming League One season, and you can purchase it online now or at the club shop.
