Hutchinson agrees Cheltenham move

11 January 2022

Following a number of weeks training with the club, Cheltenham Town are pleased to confirm the signing of Reece Hutchinson.

The left back or wing back has penned a contract that will see him join the Robins on a deal until the end of the campaign.

He has been without a club since leaving Burton Albion at the end of last season and has spent time recently training with Championship duo Derby County and Luton Town as well as League One leaders Rotherham United.

The 21-year-old made 56 appearances for Burton in his time with the Brewers - amassing 43 League One appearances in his time at the Pirelli Stadium after he progressed through their youth system.

During the 2017/18 campaign he spent time on loan at Romulus, but it has been with the first team squad at Burton he has made his name, making his debut under their former boss Nigel Clough.

After a number of weeks training with Cheltenham he has impressed enough to earn a contract and is available for Saturday's home clash with Charlton Athletic.

His player sponsorship is now available. Email luke.saunders@ctfc.com if you are interested in sponsoring the latest January recruit at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Tickets for this Saturday's match against Charlton are available to buy online and from the ticket office. Be sure to buy before midnight on Friday to save £2 on matchday prices.
