Brown excited to get up to speed at Cheltenham

7 January 2022

Charlie Brown can't wait to get his Cheltenham Town career underway after he moved to the club on a permanent deal from MK Dons on Thursday.

The former Chelsea youngster has penned an 18-month contract at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium after making the move from fellow League One MK.

He's looking to add to the experience he's already mustered in his time in Milton Keynes at this level, and joins a healthy Robins front line that's also been boosted by the arrival of Dan Nlundulu in the January transfer window.

"I'm really excited. I can't wait to get going," he said.

"It came around quite quickly. It's been sorted very quick. I've trained with the lads and can't wait to kick on.

"It's nice to get involved with all the boys. I hadn't trained for a couple of days when I was sorting this out so it was nice to get back on the pitch."

Brown is available to make his debut for the club on Saturday when Burton Albion visit the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

The kick-off time against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side is at 3pm and tickets are available to buy online. Purchase before midnight to save £2 on tickets on the day.
