Behind closed doors game at Oxford ends in defeat

A Cheltenham Town XI headed to Oxford United's training ground for a behind closed doors friendly this afternoon, losing 4-1 against the fellow League One side.

The game provided an ideal opportunity to field a number of the club's new signings with a mixture of youngsters also included in the squad.

Billy Bodin put Oxford a goal up after only four minutes, but Charlie Raglan levelled for the Robins with a header on nine minutes.

Wales international Bodin netted again to help Oxford retake the lead ahead of the half time break.

In the second half Adam Smith and Gatlin O'Donkor added further goals to complete the U's victory.
