Reece Hutchinson was pleased that he could contribute to a robust team showing in a goalless draw at Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.
Signed in January, the 21-year-old was making just his second appearance for the club as he started in a left wing back role at a well-backed Portman Road with over 20,000 in attendance.
It was actually the second time in his short career he's played against the Tractor Boys at their famous home in Suffolk having appeared there for Burton Albion two seasons ago, and he was pleased along with a number of other players who have recently been out of the team that he could play his part in a good result away from home.
"To come to a place like this we have to quieten the crowd. The lads put in a shift tonight - the team work, the belief that we talk about all the time, and there are lads coming off with cramp," he said.
"Some of the lads haven't played a lot of minutes so to put that sort of shift in tonight is amazing.
"We needed some fresh legs in there, especially after the shift they put in Saturday, and I just generally think with the new lads coming in we gave as much legs as we could and we all put a good shift in."
